In the past month we have established new youth movements in schools in Amaoti - a township in Durban - and in Tumaini - a newly established facility for refugees. We run our activities once a week, every day with a different group and on different subjects...

The Project TEN Durban Center run the youth movement activities once a week, every day with a different group and on different subjects. Our Youth movements follow a syllabus – teaching about community, responsibility, local heroes and personal strengths, amongst other things. Eventually, we aim for these youth to run the movements themselves. This month we have focused on building strong groups, setting goals, empowering their skills, learning what a youth movement is, and of course having fun!
